| As described in my blog entry from May 3, 2006, we had an interesting taxi trip from the airport into the center of Phnom Penh. For some reason, the cab driver that picked us up was able to figure out that we were tourists. However, through the help of the nice people at the Intercontinental Hotel, we were able to find our way to the bus stop. | Sihanoukville is a resort town located in the south of Cambodia by the Gulf of Thailand, and the city offers great beaches and food at very low prices. We made the mistake of staying at the miserable Sokha Beach Resort, which is the first five-star beach resort in Cambodia. Unfortunately, the resort is located far away from the city center, and better food can be had at one of the many Serendipity Beach budget hotels - and at a much lower cost. |

| Another Ream National Park beach photo. | It was a beautiful day in the park, but then again, I think almost every day we had in Cambodia was blessed with excellent weather. |
